Fixed Time Artificial Insemination (FTAI)

Fixed Time Artificial Insemination (FTAl) is a cost-effective reproductive biotechnology that is ideal for increasing the overall genetics of your herd while also significantly increasing profitability in your beef or dairy operation. Led and performed by reproduction specialist, Alfonso Serrano, bionovaph is currently the only service provider of FTAI commercially for cattle in the Philippines.

What will we do?

Implement a 10-day protocol while ensuring the supply of hormones, tools, and appropriate equipment for the FTAI program. 

• Day 0: Pre-Service examination by ultrasound and induction of new follicular wave
• Day 8: Induction of heat and ovulation
• Day 10: Artificial insemination procedure (Timed AI)
• >30 Days: Early pregnancy diagnosis via ultrasound

What happens next?

Resynchro Program & Bull Exposure: As part of the intensive breeding season, the Resynchro program is designed for cows and heifers that did not conceive during the initial round of Fixed-Time Artificial Insemination (FTAI). These animals will undergo a subsequent resynchronization and bull exposure in pursuit of achieving pregnancy.
